The Compact V-Spike SSD Destroyer (MVC-V-SSD) adds a new dimension to physical destruction of SSDs by combining V-Spike Technology that disables SSD Electronic Components.
The MVC-V-SSD also destroys and renders unusable or unreadable by normal means, other miniaturized electronic devices and data storage media including USBs, PDAs, cell/smart phones and circuit boards. Will also crush and disable a limited number of HDDs.
Complete SSD Media and Data Destruction
The MVC -V -SSD doesnt simply fold a drive, or punch a few holes in it. The MVC -V -SSDs specially designed multi-sector plates with interlocking pyramidal spears chew, crush and demolish every square inch of media, and then delivers crippling pulsed electrical jolts into each sector disabling sensitive electronic components in the media.
Secure SSD Destruction Where You Need It
The Phiston MVC-V -SSD has a footprint of only 22.5 x 9.75, and stands 16 tall. It was designed for desk- and table-top deployment and to be unobtrusive, making it ideal for space-limited offices and server rooms.
Your storage media never have to leave your secure server room or facilities for destruction, eliminating chain-of-custody and other security risks.
MVC-V- SSD with Debris Chute Installed.
Crushed debris is ejected via the optional chute accessory, directly into a garbage container.
* Proprietary hydraulic crushing platform fitted with a pair of patented crushing plates with arrays of 187 interlocking razor sharp hardened steel teeth (see below)
* V-Spike® technology that delivers a fatal electrical jolt to disable electronic components on SSD media including memory chips and controllers.
*The crusher delivers 20 tons (40,000 lbs) of destructive forces with up to 187 piercings of the SSD media. The fragile ceramic memory chips and controller are punctured, crushed and serrated on both sides in less than 30 seconds. Concurrently, pulsed electrical jolts are injected to disable sensitive electronic components on the SSD media.
*Built-in Worker and Environmental Health and Safety features:
*Fully automated, hands-off operation for user safety
*Debris accumulates in a collection bin until safely disposed of
*HEPA Filtration system traps any potentially harmful airborne particulates from the crushing and shattering of circuit boards, electronic components and silicon-based integrated circuit chips
*RFI and EMI Suppression to minimize interference with other electronic equipment in the vicinity
Noise suppression to 65db which is much quieter than the 85db threshold acceptable to OSHA for workplace

Approved by the RCMP for Interim Destruction pending further Approved Destruction. The MVC-V-SSD renders HDDs, SSDs and Miniaturized Electronic Devices unplayable by ordinary means and is therefore approved as a risk mitigation measure for media in transit to, or awaiting additional destruction required for medium and confidentiality levels of information.
Approved by RCMP for secure destruction of HDDs containing or having processed:
